Educators

Being an educator is one of the most important roles in our world today. As education grows and changes over time, the demand for educators to support student academic growth, mental health, and emotional well-being grows, too. Although knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs about the importance of physical health is well accepted and commonly practiced in schools, finding the knowledge and tools needed to teach positive mental health to students is not as readily available. This resource hub aims to provide educators with knowledge, activities, and steps they can take to help foster positive mental health in their classrooms and schools.

Parents and Caregivers

As a parent, your child will come to you throughout their life to help them navigate new situations, learn, and grow.   Whether you know it or not, you have your own toolbox of tricks and tips to help your child grow, learn, and stay healthy.  From putting a bandaid on a scraped knee to helping them navigate friendships, you are your child’s number one source of strategies to solving problems.  One area that parents often feel less prepared for are situations involving mental health. This resource hub aims to help fill your parenting tool box with knowledge, activities, and actions that can help your child grow mentally and emotionally.

Students

Let’s face it, being a kid these days isn’t easy!  It can be downright stressful!  Dealing with the expectations of teachers and parents while also trying to make and keep friends is a full-time job.  In school and at home, you are taught from a young age how important it is to take care of your body to help with stress; you go to the doctor for check ups, you try to eat healthy foods, and you are encouraged to exercise.  Your body will thank you for all you do to take care of it.  But how well do you think you take care of your mind? That’s part of your body too, right?!  This resource hub has knowledge, activities, and steps you can take to make sure your mental health is just as good as your physical health.
